CPA Fridah Mwai is a seasoned finance leader with over 15 years of progressive experience. She brings a powerful combination of technical accounting expertise, strategic financial oversight, and a strong passion for transparency, efficiency, and member value creation — qualities that position her to help move QONA SACCO to the next level. Currently serving as Finance Business Partner – Technology at Safaricom PLC, Fridah supports high-level financial decision-making across Network and IT operations.
Fridah serves as a Board Member at St. Bakhita Gataragwa Girls, where she is the Chair of the Finance Committee. In 2014, she was recognized as a “Safaricom Way Hero” for Simplicity in cashless staff payments, an award that reflects her commitment to clear processes, practical solutions, and values-driven leadership. Fridah seeks to serve on the main board of QONA SACCO to promote strong governance, prudent financial management, innovation, and sustainable growth — ensuring greater returns, stronger systems, and a more secure financial future for all members.
A CPA(K) and an active member of ICPAK, Fridah holds a B.Ed. (Economics & Business Studies), M.Sc. Finance and is currently pursuing a PhD in Finance.
